What is The Fallow Place?

The Fallow Place Counseling Location

Taking cues from the natural world, The Fallow Place honors the cyclical and seasonal rhythms of our lives. Our society encourages production where our worth is measured by our work. However, we at The Fallow Place tend to the soil of your soul, recognizing that before fruitfulness must come healing.

Here you will find resources to navigate the season you are in, a soul friend to accompany you on the journey, a safe space to unearth the pain and trauma of your past, and a clear path forward to the restoration and rejuvenation needed for a fresh harvest of healing.

Meet Amy

Working as a therapist in private practice and ministering to followers of Jesus in the church context, I began to see an overlap of themes and needs relating to the care of the mind, the body, and the spirit.

Rooted in my understanding of attachment theory, relational neuroscience, and spiritual formation, I began to experience the power of a secure attachment to God and his great desire to bring complete healing and restoration to not just our minds, bodies, and spirits, but also our marriages, relationships, businesses, churches, and communities.

And while my faith informs my calling, I work with clients from all different faith backgrounds and am happy to accommodate you to the level of comfortability you need.

In our work together, you will experience the calming presence of a safe, secure foundation encouraging you to turn compassionately towards the parts of yourself that hold onto brokenness and identify your true self at the core of who you are designed to be.  I look forward to walking with you on this journey.
